01 · CREATE & SHARE
An actual public example link and QR
This link was created with URLTO for demonstration. It is not a customer case and points to example.com.
- Original URL
https://example.com/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=urlto_demo
- Public sharing URL
- https://urlto.kr/urlto-demo-20260930

Scanning follows the same short link. The creation result also provides the QR image.
URLTO issues and stores the short link and redirects to its destination. Share the public short URL; keep the private statistics and management addresses from the creation result to yourself.
02 · MEASURE
What link statistics show
The figures below are illustrative, not the actual clicks of the link above or customer results.
Private statistics show daily clicks and referring-domain, device and browser distributions. Lifetime requests and retained detailed events cover different scopes. Repeated and automated requests can be included; clicks are not unique visitors or purchases.
Operator site-visit estimates and individual short-link click statistics are different metrics. This public example exposes neither operator analytics nor real user information.
03 · MANAGE
Manage destination, status and expiry
Illustrative management states only. These values do not change any real link.
- Example destination change
https://example.com/notice-v1 → https://example.com/notice-v2
- Example status
- Active → paused: stop redirecting the short link
- Example expiry setting
- No expiry → stop redirecting after a specified time
Changing a short link’s destination preserves its public address and the QR encoding that address. Pausing, expiring or deleting the link also stops QR redirects. A QR encoding the original URL directly cannot be changed this way.
Management is accessed through the private address in the creation result. This example includes no secret keys or authentication cookies and cannot edit anyone’s link.
Scope and next steps
Core shortening, QR and private statistics and management are available without signup or payment. No default expiry is not a promise of permanent retention; configured expiry, deletion, abuse controls and operating policies apply.
Add UTM labels before shortening to distinguish campaigns. Revenue and purchase conversions require separate destination analytics.
