Quick answers for URLTO

Most core features work without an account. Here are the most common questions.

How do I shorten a URL?

Paste a destination on the home page and select Shorten URL. If you omit the protocol, URLTO will use https:// by default.

Why are analytics and management links private?

Guest links use a secret management key so they can be managed without an account. Anyone with that private URL may be able to change settings, so do not publish it.

Can I change the destination?

Yes. Open the management page provided after creation to update the destination, temporarily disable redirects, or set an expiration date.

What does the QR code point to?

The standard QR code points to the URLTO short link. If that link is disabled, expired, or deleted, the QR will no longer redirect to the destination.

I found an abusive link

Use the Security or Report abuse page to report phishing, malware, fraud, or spam.

What do URLTO's URL analysis tools do?

Website Quick Audit checks one public URL for HTTP status, HTTPS, title, description, H1, canonical, noindex directives, Open Graph, JSON-LD, image alt text, core security headers, redirects, and same-host robots.txt/sitemap signals. SEO Check is a focused entry page over the same analysis engine for search and indexability signals.

Link Check v1 classifies internal, external, fragment, special, empty, and duplicate links from one page without crawling every destination for status. Response Speed Check shows a single server-observed fetch from URLTO's Korea server and is intentionally separate from Lighthouse, browser rendering performance, and Core Web Vitals.

How do I create an account?

Continue with Google, Kakao, or Naver. URLTO creates the account on the first successful sign-in, and the same provider account can be used for later sign-ins without creating a separate URLTO password.
