Data we process

• Destination URLs submitted for shortening and generated short codes
• Click time, referrer domain, device class, browser class, and language for basic analytics
• Email address and message when voluntarily submitted through Contact
• Report details and target link when abuse is reported

IP addresses

URLTO does not store raw IP addresses as click-analytics records in the application database. Standard server, hosting, network, or security logs may still contain network metadata for a limited period for reliability and security purposes.

Retention and deletion

Link and analytics data may be retained while needed to provide and operate the service. Deleting a link stops redirects, while limited historical records may be retained for security, dispute handling, and aggregate accuracy. Inquiry and abuse records may also be retained as operationally necessary.

Cookies, ads, and third-party analytics

The core shortener does not currently require a first-party account cookie. URLTO public pages load the Google AdSense loader code. Code integration alone does not prove Google site/account approval, actual ad delivery, or revenue; those states depend on Google review and account configuration. When Google actually serves ads, cookies or similar technologies may be used depending on region and settings. Google Analytics (GA4) is not currently connected.

Security and requests

URLTO uses HTTPS, private management keys, input validation, and access restrictions. Privacy-related requests can be submitted through the Contact page.

URL analysis tool data

When Website Quick Audit, SEO Check, Link Check, or Response Speed Check is used, the submitted public URL is processed transiently while URLTO fetches the requested page and computes the result. These tools currently do not persist the submitted URL, fetched HTML, or analysis result to a URLTO account or application analytics database. As with normal requests, limited request metadata may still appear in standard server or network security logs.

Link Check v1 classifies link structure from the submitted HTML page without requesting discovered destinations. Response Speed Check measures a server-observed fetch from URLTO's Korea server; it does not collect browser rendering data or Core Web Vitals.

Social sign-in accounts

URLTO accounts are designed around Google, Kakao, and Naver sign-in. URLTO does not require a separate email/password registration flow. Social sign-in processes the provider-specific account identifier and, when available, a display name or nickname needed to present the account in the product.

URLTO's login code does not request an email address. Provider-console permissions should likewise remain limited to the profile information needed for sign-in instead of requesting unrelated email, gender, birthday, or phone data.

Keywords and volumes are saved for statistics, related keywords and trends, without linking to IPs or accounts. History shows monthly volumes observed on each date.
