URLTO GUIDE
Maintain a store-menu QR when files and pages change
Plan the link structure before printing if you want to replace a menu without replacing every sign. Separate the QR's address, the public menu and private controls.

1. Prepare a menu visitors can access
Open the page or file on a phone without signing in. A temporary preview in your account may differ from the public menu. Review prices, item names and store information, then check readability at phone size. A QR does not repair menu content or grant file permissions.
2. Decide whether to replace the destination or the code
| Address encoded in the existing QR | When the menu address changes |
|---|---|
| Original menu URL | Keep that original address working or replace the QR |
| Public URLTO short URL | Review availability, update the destination and test |
| Private management URL | Do not publish private controls |
3. Split locations only when useful
One public URL can serve every table when the menu is identical and placement comparisons are unnecessary. Separate destinations for different branches or languages. For placement-level request activity, use separate tagged destinations and short URLs and record which image was printed where.

4. Check the physical sign after replacing a menu
After publishing a replacement, open both the original destination and short URL, then scan the existing sign. Moving a file or changing its sharing permissions can break access even when the image scans correctly. Review expiry and activation and record the change date and tester. Requests are not orders or visitor counts.
Frequently asked questions
Does shortening a price-list PDF turn it into a webpage?
A short URL redirects to the original destination. File format, mobile presentation and access permissions remain properties of that service.
Are menu requests equivalent to orders?
No. A person can open the menu repeatedly or without ordering. Check orders in the separate ordering system.
