Distinguish body-per-time ratios from connection speed

The transfer reference is received body size divided by elapsed time. It is not an internet connection-speed test.

Input and processing example

Compare it yourself · Illustrative example

가상 계산 / Illustrative calculation
100 KiB ÷ 0.5 s = 200 KiB/s
경과 시간에는 연결·이동 등이 포함 / elapsed time includes connection and navigation

Steps to verify

  • Read size and time together.
  • Compare equivalent content.
  • Do not report it as connection Mbps.

How to interpret the result

The denominator includes the full fetch, unlike download-only bandwidth. For tiny bodies, connection time has a larger relative influence.

Deciding what to do next

Use final responses and repeated observations when judging changes. A high ratio does not establish fast screen rendering.

Feature scope

Measure the received body and elapsed fetch time from the Korean server, not all assets, rendering, pure TTFB or a Core Web Vitals score.

Frequently asked questions

Does it describe my network quality?

It is a server-request reference ratio. User connections require separate measurement.
