URLTO GUIDE
Turn keyword research into a useful content plan
Start with a reader's question, not just a large volume number. Read each signal in context and narrow it to a topic you can explain well.

1. Separate three kinds of signals
| Signal | Source | Interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly volume, related terms and competition | Naver Search Ads | Competition describes advertising competition |
| Realtime trending topics | Google Trends | A different signal from monthly Naver demand |
| Opportunity score and phrase ideas | URLTO | Computed scores and ideas, not official metrics |
2. Narrow a broad term into a question
A broad topic such as QR codes can become questions about testing a printed poster, changing an event destination or distinguishing placements. These phrase combinations are planning ideas; generating them does not verify demand for those exact queries.
3. Review intent and evidence before the score
Low advertising competition does not mean easy organic rankings. URLTO's opportunity score combines approximate monthly volume and advertising competition; it does not assess article quality, expertise or ranking. Decide whether you can answer an informational, comparison or purchase question with evidence and examples.
4. Record observations and evaluate the published work
Observation history stores the monthly volume seen on each observation date, not searches that happened that day. Treat low-volume ranges as approximate values. After publishing an article, tagged destinations and separate short URLs can help you review its distribution activity.
