How to use
Choose a calculation and enter two numbers. Percentage change is (new value − initial value) ÷ initial value × 100.
Example and limitations
20% of 50,000 is 10,000; a 20% discount leaves 40,000. A change from 80 to 100 is a 25% increase. Change from zero is undefined; this tool requires a positive initial value. Results are for general reference and may involve floating-point rounding.
